Wow !! Braves vs. Houston Game 5.

18 Innings and the Astros move onto face StL in the NLCS.

Atlanta chokes AGAIN. Oh well, what else is new?

They were up 6-1 in the 8th inning with 2 outs and couldnt close the door, thats just piss poor.

Here are some interesting stats from last nights game.

42 players used
533 pitches thrown
25 runners left on base

7 Astros relievers allow 1 run in 13.1 IP

Astros had 2 hits in extra innings, 1 2B and 1 HR.

Roger Clemens pitched in relief for the first time in 21 years.

Ugh.. I can't believe this shit. You forgot about the part where they were up 6-5 w/ 2 out in the 9th, that frickenhomer to tie it bqarely cleared the yellow line, insane way to lose a game.

They would have gotten killed by the Cards anyway. At least the Stros starting pitching might give them some hell.

I told everyone on here somewhere that the bullpen would be the killer once again and it was. Braves bullpen over this run = Worst. Bullpen. Ever.

Lol.. No, my Dad is a sox fan, so I saw plenty. It's weird though, the Red Sox bullpen was really fucking good last year and then they just fell apart i a les than a season. I didn't keep track of who they lost, but I do know Foulke gave them nothing all year.

Great comeback by Houston...how about Clemens suiting up and pitching the last 2 innings? Great stuff.

I'm with Brandon in that I knew ATL's bullpen woes would catch up to them eventually. Although Berkman's opposite field HR would've been a flyout in most ballparks. Ausmus's shot barely cleared the line, too, so while the Braves did give the game away, you have to credit Houston for coming up with some big hits.
