College Football

Here's a thread for random college football ranting. It will probably just be me and Freak again, but whatever.

USC definately looked beatable this week, which was very exciting for me. They have a very difficult next two games, playing at Notre Dame and at Cal. I'm not convinced that they will survive without a loss.

My UCLA Bruins are rocking at 4-0 and have been looking great (although not so great this week), so I'm very excited about this, and like oour chances for a USC upset at the end of the year. We almost took them out last year, and we are a lot better this year.

It's good to see Penn State and Joe Paterno doing well again. Although now that guy is never going to retire.

It's great to see Oklahoma suck as much as they do. I spent this summer at a music program with the girlfriend of one of their players, and she wouldn't shut up about how great OU football was. I've hated them ever since.

Next week should be fun to watch Texas blow up all over Oklahoma. Also Georgia at Tennessee will be great, along with Ohio State v. Penn State. My game of the week is no. 10 Cal visiting no.20 (yes, 20) UCLA. Go Bruins!

Take a look at Texas' schedule for the rest of the year. If they get past the OU problem they should go undefeated. Vince Young hasn't even had to throw the ball much which is good. I like the rushing for a 100 and passing for 200..

USC has lots of problems in that secondary and will be exploited big time by Notre Dame. Plus, the ND running attack is decent. That will be a tough game for USC to win, another shootout I think..

Vick has been playing lights out for Virginia Tech and the schedule isn't bad.. Don't be surprised if it's VT and Texas at the end of the year.

OU has no business coming within 40 points of Texas. If they do it would be somewhat of an upset.

At least you guys didn't lose to Michigan State. That was a great game. I've always liked Michigan for some reason, so it's sad to see them not doing well. I think they'll finish strong though because they looked really good against MSU and I think they were playing below their potential until now.
