NFL Week 4

I was at a bar drinking all day, so I really dont know much about what happened outside of the Giants game.

So, I'll just talk about my boys in blue for a while.

First off, Eli is really coming into his own this season. He took his lumps last year, and now he's making better reads and really leading this offense. Right now, the Giants are the highest-scoring team in the NFL, and I don't think a lot of people would have guessed that. Plaxico has been great, Shockey has been consistent (averaging about 4 catches a game), Barber has been great as usual, and Jacobs is a beast. The defense still leaves a little to be desired, as the Rams threw for like 450 yards or something like that, but they came up with some big plays when they needed them. One of them, however, came via a stupid play call by Martz, calling a reverse when they were marching downthe field

Any comments on the other games?

Ok.. well, I'm not ready to put the Giants in the playoffs just yet, but Eli did look really good. What the hell are the Skins doing at 3-0? They suck..

As far as some other games, I think my Niners might officially be the worst team in the NFL for the 2nd straight year. Leinhart? haha..

The Pats are all beat up, but I don't think it would have mattered. After the slow start the Chargers are really heating it up, and Tomlinson is a beast, untouchable.. I've made two threads the last two weeks that got no replies about the Chargers, I think they have all the tools to get to the Super Bowl. I know you guys don't like talking about them, so I'll move on.

The Vikings? What the hell.. I thought after last week they'd be game against the Falcons but I guess not. Maybe Culpepper really does need Moss back. Tice will be fired soon.

The Bucs continue to find ways to win, signs of a good team. Same with the Eagles, but we know they are great. I dare someone to stop McNabb/Owens/Westbrook as good as they are playing right now.

The NFC North sucks ass.

The Colts will win 14 games, you can count on that.

The Bengals look really decent too, they could win 10 games, They are finally a franchise again.

The Bengals are exciting to watch. Chad Johnson is quickly becoming one of my favorite players.

Somehow, I haven't been able to see any of the Colts games yet, which makes me mad because they're one of my favorites. Now that they have a defence, they should do some special things this year.

So, Brett Favre is more or less God.

Right now I'm praying he sticks around for one more season, that the Packers are in good enough position to draft a playmaker like Reggie Bush next April, and all the rookies on this team develop enough in the next year to make a run in 2006. Ted Thompson should have enough cap space to sign a good defender or two, and once that happens, I think the team will be in solid position for the future.
