Yes.. I checked that out just for the hell of it. You beat me in the final. I think everyone gave up on this or something.

With this format, it's hard to stay interested in it, because after the draft, there really isn't much to do. Since you can't change your lineup on a day to day basis, all you can do is check up on it every once in a while to make sure that noone in your lineup is on the DL, and then hope for the best. Last year was better, I think, as you could update your lineup everyday, and overall it was just a more interactive league.

I think my team is responsible for the worst flop in fantasy baseball history.

In the league I was in I finished 179-93-43 which was good enough for finishing 23.5 games ahead of 2nd place. But in the final I managed to lose 9-3-3. I did make it close in week two of the final but week one screwed me. I only had 1 HR at the end of week one :lick:

R. Barajas (Tex - C)
D. Lee (ChC - 1B)
A. Soriano (Tex - 2B)
Mi. Cabrera (Fla - 3B,OF)
M. Tejada (Bal - SS)
B. Bonds (SF - OF)
M. Holliday (Col - OF)
J. Edmonds (StL - OF)
P. Burrell (Phi - OF)
M. Teixeira (Tex - 1B)
H. Matsui (NYY - OF)
P. Feliz (SF - 1B,3B,SS,OF)
B. Abreu (Phi - OF)
A. Pierzynski (CWS - C)
J. Cantú (TB - 2B,3B)
B. Roberts (Bal - 2B)

R. Dempster (ChC - SP,RP)
M. Batista (Tor - SP,RP)
A. Heilman (NYM - SP,RP)
B. Lidge (Hou - RP)
B. Fuentes (Col - RP)
F. Cordero (Tex - RP)
A. BenÃ*tez (SF - RP)
J. Valverde (Ari - RP)
P. MartÃ*nez (NYM - SP)
C. Cordero (Was - RP)
H. Street (Oak - RP)
B. SheetsDL (Mil - SP)
A. Burnett (Fla - SP)
J. Contreras (CWS - SP)
J. Garland (CWS - SP)
J. Lackey (LAA - SP)
J. Sosa (Atl - SP,RP)

-----------

Those are most of the players that ended up on my team during the final two weeks. There are others I ended up dropping to improve in other areas though like M. Clement (Bos - SP), J. Guillén (Was - OF), B. Lyon (Ari - RP), D. Young (Det - 1B,OF) and B. Myers (Phi - SP) ---- Might be some more. Those are players that would be starters on most teams I ended up feeling I could afford to lose because my team was so stacked :lick: There are so many RPs because over the last couple of days I started to get desperate, dropped all my starting pitchers that had no more starts left and hoped to get a lot of saves :lick:

I am still happy about the team I managed to put together and how I did before the finals though. Especially when I don't really follow baseball while the other 7 teams were all managed by big baseball fans.

And the best part is I don't have to feel bad about making some really BS trades to get that team. I only ended up making two trades and the rest were FA's or drafted

M. Alou (SF - OF)
J. Randa (SD - 3B)
G. ChacÃ*n (Tor - SP,RP)

For

H. Matsui (NYY - OF)
B. Lidge (Hou - RP)
F. Cordero (Tex - RP)

That was back at the start of August when Chacin was coming off a really strong July. I needed RPs and he needed a starting pitcher and third baseman so it benefited both of us even though it looks a little one sided. Matsui for Alou being added wasn't really fair but he wasn't starting Matsui since he hated the Yankess and only ended up with Matsui because he missed the draft. Which was stupid because even if he hated the Yankees Matsui is still good for fantasy points and holding on to him until August when he could have got a trade sooner was stupid to. So I didn't feel like offering him one of my best players for a player he wasn't even starting and offered Alou :lick:

C. Guillén (Det - SS)
K. Griffey Jr. (Cin - OF)

For

M. Tejada (Bal - SS)

Griffey was having a comeback season and SS was the only part of my team that I thought needed a big upgrade. He had Jeter and Tejada but was lacking in the outfield so I offered him Griffey and Guillén for one of them and he accepted and decided on Tejada

Maybe next year the Spinroids will have to join the KYN (Yeah I still call it that.... so sue me :lick: ) league if there is one.
