I just figured I would wrtie everything out, for the sake of those of you who will be watching.

If the Yankees sweep:

The Yankees would win the AL East

The Indians would win the wild card if they win at least one game against the White Sox.

If the White Sox sweep the Indians as well, the Indians and Red Sox would play a one-game playoff to determinethe wild card winner.

If the Yankees win 2 out of 3:[

The Yankees would win the AL East

The Indians would win the Wild Card if they win the series with the White Sox.

The Red Sox would win the wild card if the Indians get swept.

The Indians and Red Sox would play a one-game playoff if the Indians win exactly one game against the White Sox

If Boston wins 2 out of 3:

If the White Sox win the series against the Indians, no one-game playoff game will be played, and the Yankees will win the East based on head-to-head record, and the Red Sox will win the wild card.

If the Indians sweep the White Sox, the Indians will win the Wild Card, and the Yankees and Red Sox will play a one-game playoff to determine the AL East.

If the Indians win 2 out of 3, the Indians, Yankees, and Red Sox will all have the same record. So, the Yankees would play the Red Sox for the AL East title on Monday, and the loser of that game would play the Indians for the Wild Card on Tuesday

If Boston sweeps:

Boston wins the AL East

The Yankees win the wild card if the White Sox sweep the Indians

Cleveland wins the Wild Card if they win the series against the White Sox

If Cleveland wins one game against the White Sox, the Yankees and Indians would play a one-game playoff for the Wild Card
