Either one of the Charger QBs would be good pick ups. It would take a great offer, but I bet the Chargers would be willing to part with either Breese of Rivers for the right price.

The Chargers might as well trade Rivers since he probably won't play unless Breese gets injured.

Visit and shop for video games at my Amazon-based store, also get discounted HD DVDs while they last.

Oh... sorry.

I love you! or something.

Do you do this everytime someone disagrees with you?

I challenge you to make your picks like I have the past couple of weeks. You wont even come close to me. I reckon you wont do it though, claiming that it ruins Sundays for you or something.

I eat crow from time to time but at least I put my opinion out there. Can't be right all the time.

I have forgotten more about the NFL than you will ever know.

Trust me. Don't go there.

MisterD, I realize that 14-2 was unrealisitc as well. Here is how I actually see it barring any major injuries to the likes of Brady or Dillon.

My Predictions are next to the team they are playing that week. Keep in mind that even the most advanced predictors usually only get about 60% correct.

After seeing what happened to the Jets, no team is gonna trade away a quality backup QB -- LEAST of all Tennessee, with Steve McNair the way he is.

The Pats won't go 14-2, but it does look like they'll win that division. I even thought Buffalo had a chance to begin the year, but Spikes was a huge, huge blow. And Simon, Miami is playing really solid football right now. Once Ricky comes back, there's potential there for some pretty clever Brown/Williams backfields.

Yes I do it when people who talk down to others because they know more about something like it really fucking matters. Here is your cookie. You know more about football. That doesn't mean your always right about it or that I can't have an opinion.

When I do have an opinon about soemthing I don't have to be a super fan to comment in this forum either so be fucking nicer to people who are tring to learn and maybe more people will post here, including myself.

I am trying to get back into football and people like you make me not want to.

Ok, so load up on the D-line. Play a 5-2 and stop the run all day long.

Oh wait they have AJ Feeley and Marty Booker to totally fake out teams with the play action.

Oh and they have Junior Seau !!!

It makes no sense to even tryo to find a way the Pats won't win the division. They will win the div. and it won't be close, however, I do think the Colts will beat them in the playoffs and the Colts will have home field.

Miami isn't as bad as Simon is making them out to be. They aren't in the Pats league but I think 8-8 is very possible with the roster they have.

As far as the Jets go, they are screwed. No chance in hell do they make the playoffs now, but like someone was saying, Herm will have them working their ass off and 8-8 could be possible. Probably 7-9 though.

The Bills stink.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, since neither of those guys are even starters for Miami (Booker/Boston might be interchangeable, I dunno)...

If you haven't noticed, Gus Frerotte is outplaying your boy Tom Brady this season, with 5 TDs and a win last week against Carolina. Oh, and I DARE you to line up a 5-2 against Miami, and see what happens with Randy McMichael. Chambers had a huge game last week as well.

As for the defense, it's not like Taylor and Madison and Thomas aren't still good players, and Saban is already building a good core of young defenders (ie. Channing Crowder, Matt Roth).

Simon, my prediction for the Patriots is 12-4...i think they will lose some combination of two of these games: @ Falcons, @ Denver, @ KC, vs. Indy, plus one "let-down" game. In 2004, their let-down game was the Miami game. In 2003, it was the Bills in week 1. They will have one bad loss, and two losses to quality teams. That's my prediction
