So the hot topic in Boston this week is whether or not rookie phenom reliever Craig Hansen should be pitching it critical situations leading into the playoff run.
Here its split...
Some are saying, hell ya!! He must be put into real tough situations to test him.
Others say, No way!! He is too good to test right now. He could be the closer for the next 10 years, don't crush his pride so early. Let him develop.
Now a little quick history on this guy.
A year and a half ago he was still in high school. Now he is on the Sox. He made an incredible transition to pro ball and completely destroyed the minors. He had not given up a single run in minor league ball. Pretty much unheard of.
He also throws 3 pitches over 97 MPH and has tons of movement.
So I ask. Is this player for the future or do you see what he can do now.
I say let him kick some ass, or at least try.
