So, we have four teams for three spots.. The Red Sox have been struggling with their pitching big time, but can still hit like nobody else. They have a 15-3 lead on the D-Rays as I write this.
The Yankees seemed to have righted the ship strangely enough behind Aaron Small and Chacon.
The Indians are RED HOT.. with those young players.
I think the Red Sox will manage to hold on to their lead to win the AL East, the Anaheim Angels(I refuse to call them the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) will barely win the AL West, the White Sox will complete the biggest collapse in MLB history but still manage to grab the AL Wild Card. This will give the Indians the AL Central and shut the Yankess out of the playoffs for the first time since 1995.

Wow.. so you think the Yanks will be gone huh? I dunno..
The big thing here is that while the Yanks have to play the Sox the final three, I think the White Sox and Indians are also playing in their final three..
So if somebody gets swept.. forget it.
The big advantage the Indians have is all the easy games against Tampa and Kansas City. (I know Sox fans and Yanks fans might disagree, but the D-Rays are an easy opponent for everyone else to play)
As long as the Indians don't sweep the White Sox and the Red Sox can go at least 2/3 againt the Yankess, then yes I do believe that New York will miss the playoffs this year. The last week of the season will sure be exciting no matter what happens.

Are you sure D ? Man, this shit changes everyday and these analysts on ESPN change their mind just as much.
lol.. The Indians have just looked incredible. I know they've been playing shit teams but they aren't even screwing around. 4 more home runs today for them. Their leadoff man has like 27 homers now, Sizemore, and their 9th hitter has 23.
The White Sox have finally won two games in a row again..
And then there is the race between you know who.. Dead even as I write this. It's nuts, very exciting. I have to use something to amuse myself seeing how Atlanta has pretty much wrapped up their div. again.
On a side note, I hope those damn Astros lose some games.. I want to play the Padres in the first round.. haha..
He was available? Oh yeah, well..he's just now picked it up really. but he's been on fire! Whoever has Travis Haffner must be pretty happy as well. On a side note, if you can still pick up players go get fricken Bonds..He's still a machine.
Well.. The White Sox just clinched the division. You think they'll play against the Tribe? I don't think so. I wouldn't be surprised if the Tribe swept them.
It's looking like The Red Sox will have to win 3 of 4 games against the Yanks to get in. 2 out of 3 in Boston and then the play-in game in the Bronx.
Now Watch the Tribe struggle against Chi-Town because I said that.
