In 2 weekends time i am hopefully going to see Sunderland vs West Ham for my first premiership match of the season but i now feel down because the following week its Sunderland vs Man Utd.
I know some may say take the day off work but i cannot because i'm still in my probation period at work and i'd be sacked if i did take the day off.
I am looking forward to see Sunderland vs West Ham but disapointed at not seeing Man Utd.
But i do have my sights set on Newcastle & Arsenal which will hopefully be on my weekends off.
So my point is, what events or matches have you missed out on that you would have loved to have gone to.

A few years ago my local baseball team moved to a new stadium and I wanted to go to their opening game in it but tickets sold out before I could get one.
That same season they made it to the Governer's Cup(the AAA International League championship series) and I went to game 6 hoping for them to win it so they would win the championship but instead they loss, I tried to get tickets to game 7 but again they were sold out. That pissed me off because they won game 7 so I didn't get to watch them celebrate in person.

Wales v Italy football (soccer) match a few years ago. Tickets came about about 2 months before the game and I went on to my dad about getting them as soon as they came out, but he said they wont sell out that quick we'll get them nearer the time... About 3 days later they were all sold out! I was gutted, especially when there were some people I knew who hardly ever go to football matches were going (that's a big pet hate of mine people who go to just the 'Big' matches.)
I was even more gutted because we upset the mighty Italians and beat them 2-1!
I gave up tickets to a Yankees-Mets game earlier this year, but the Yankees got blown out anyway, so it was all good
