Pinkston injured his ankle when he was tripped up on a route down the sideline. He remained down for several minutes before limping to the medical tent. A few hours after the injury, the team said he was out for the season.

The injury is a blow to the Eagles, who aren't deep at wide receiver. Receiver

After practice, Buckhalter limped out of the team's workout facility and, before getting into his car, said his knee was sore. Buckhalter missed all of last season after tearing a tendon in his right knee during the preseason. He missed all of the 2002 season after tearing a ligament in his left knee in minicamp.

Mister D. I have McNabb in my holdover Fantasy league. Will he still be a top 3 QB scoring wise?

Me afraids.

I still like McNabb. I actually think their third reciever, Greg Lewis, is better than Pinkston. Plus, they throw to their TEs and RBs a lot. LJ Smith is a pretty good recieving TE.

The only thing Pinkston was ever good for is an occasional deep pass down the sideline, to stretch the field -- and he wasn't even that good at hauling those in. I don't think this is a major blow to Philly at all, and like Mister D said, it gives guys like Greg Lewis and LJ Smith a chance to show was they can do. They also drafted a solid WR, Reggie Brown, near the top of the 2nd round, and he has supposedly looked good.

Now, if something happens with Owens on the other hand...
