Guess the player
This is inspired by pp2 old thread about Hall of Fame caliber players. Basically, here are the rules:

I will give the stats for one player from each of the 3 major American sports (no hockey). It will be from the last full season played (so, 2004 for baseball). I will also give 3 hints. Also, none of them will be players from my 3 favorite teams (Yankees, Giants, Knicks)

Baseball

Hints:

1. My team did NOT make the playoffs last year
2. I have played with the same team my entire career

I really dont like looking these up. I really like to try and test my own knowledge but shit this is hard.

A .469 OBP?!?!?!? That seems way crazy high. This makes me believe that this guy doesnt play everyday. ala takes left handed pitchers off.
