Have you ever met any sports stars and/or players?

I met Steve Young and Joe Montana from the San Fransisco 49ers at an autograph session quite awhile back. They were both very friendly and patient with all the people there.

I always wanted to meet Jerry Rice but never got the chance. :-(

yanno come to think of it, I don't think I ever, ...oh wait, I met Eric Lindros when he was with the Oshawa Generals before signing his NHL deal. I was living in Oshawa at the time and he was in the mall doing some charity thing with his team. Of course I had no idea who the hell any of them were but I remember him being there. He stood out with his size.

I will have to think, I must have met more than just the one..

I've met the New Zealand Rugby Squad, and loadz of other rugby players, and a few footballers (soccer players) e.g Ryan Giggs, Barry Horne, Neville Southall.

The only guy I've met I think you north american guys would have heard of is Marty McSorley.

I met Dave Winfield when I was very young. Lenny Dykstra too

Also, I rode in an elevator with Eric Lindros and his mother. His mother elbowed me in the chest.

I went to a Rangers after-party with my cousin who works for the team. At the party was Anson Carter, Alex Kovalev, Brian Leetch, and Mark Messier, among others. I didnt meet any of them, but it was cool hanging out in the same bar as them

I've never met any famous athletes..but I did see one famous shotputter at an all comers meet I went to once. Didn't have a chance to talk with him though. Forgot his name too...and I also saw Brian Clay that day. hopefully I'll meet some later down the road.

I met Larry Murphy (NHL) once, and I'm POSITIVE I saw Devon White (MLB Jays '92-'93) at Harvey's with his family when I was a kid.

A couple of my friends saw Alex Rodriguez having dinner with his wife after a game a few weeks ago.

It was funny, they were like "A-Rod is having dinner with his wife at some piece of shit bar at 1 a.m., meanwhile Derek Jeter is probably getting head from 5 supermodels"

Oh, I forgot to mention I met Marv Levy, former coach of the Buffalo Bills a few months ago. That was pretty cool, although he wasnt that happy with me because it was at a book signing, and I didnt buy his book haha

I met Troy Brown (the ex New England Patriot) once. He went to Marshall University. I was in a Upward Bound program with his sister and we had some talent night and he was there. He actually lost the keys to his car and one of my friends found them in the parking lot and came in and was like "some idiot lost the keys the their Mercedes" little did he know Troy Brown was standing behind him and said "those are mine".

I also met Tamar Slay once. He also went to Marshall University and I would just see him around campus and rode an elevator with him once. I think he signed with the New Jersey Nets.
