I always wonder how much some people really know about baseball.

I will also preference this by saying that I would fail miserably at a NBA, NHL or Euro Soccer quiz, so its not to show off.

Here is a sample of questions that my friends and I could all answer very easily. (my wife could answer them all too). Its not a dig at anyone. Just a general guage of how well you know baseball.

Be honest. The answers are too easy to look up, just do it from memory.



1. Who does Michael Young play for? What position?

2. Who has more home runs? Joe Crede or Aramis Ramirez

3. Who is the worst team in the major leagues this year?

4. What city currently suffers from two teams that simply can't win a title in almost 100 years.

5. What two (modern) teams did Babe Ruth play for?

6. How many career homeruns did Hank Aaron have? 2, 550, 755, 892

7. How many active 300 game winners are there in baseball and who are they?

8. How many World Championships do the NY Yankees have?
