So I won my soccer PYC (President's Youth Cup) game tonight in shootouts. They made some new rule, and got rid of sudden death overtime. So we play Silver Goal, which is 2, 10 minute periods, and then it was still tied.
Is there anything more stressful than shoot outs? I think not. They are the best and the worst thing ever.
I was in a shootout once in a floor hockey tournament. I was scored on only once and it didn't count because he went over the line. In face I was only scored on once the whole tournament and that was only because my wonderful defenceman shot the ball out in front of my net while I was cover the side angle and it went right to the guy parked in my crease. Needless to say I was pissed. It was a mixed league and we still lost because the guys couldn't score for shit and the girls team got scored on lots. I was robbed big time To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Im a goalkeeper and I get off on shoot-outs. Ive never been on the losing side in 4 competetive shoot-outs. The best was a shoot-out that tied and got down to the 9th taker from each side. I took mine and scored then saved the next winning the shoot out.
I'm usually the 3rd or 4th penalty taker. I have a great knack of nailing my pens in the bottom corner, don't think I've ever missed a competitive one. Rarely played competitively though!

Wearing the one shirt means you`re not looked upon as a pen taker. I've always put mine str8 down the middle about chest height just to miss trailing feet.
