Sports stars you have met...

Today, I met Peter Bell. he's a pretty famous footballer here. He doesn't play for my team but I've always respected him, so it was a thrill to get his autograph and a happy snap. It got me thinking though of the sports people i have met. I've met parts of the Australian Cricket team, with the most notable being Adam Gilchirist. Who is the biggest sports star you have met?

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

Nigel Benn, Ian Wright, Andy Gray, Lennox Lewis.....can't think of anymore.

Met lots of WWE "superstars" at WMXVII meet and greet too, but they're not really sports stars are they?

I would imagine he would be.

Best of the ones I met was Nigel Benn. Chatted to him at a social evening for about 10 minutes with his (at the time) manager Ambrose Mendy in close attention. He was fantastic and not at all effected by fame, very chatty and (even if faking it) very interested in what you were saying too.

Lennox Lewis was in the mens room at that same do and chatting to some guy while I was in there. He was really running his mouth about everyone and came across as a bit of a fool, which surprised me.

I interned for a radio station that was the "sister station" of San Francisco's sports station KNBR a few years ago. But I guess the only sports star I've come across is Tom Tolbert who had his own sports show upstairs.

For a basketball player, that mofo's HUGE!
