Blitz's NBA Conference Championship Previews

Well, I'm pretty excited for these two match-ups..should be very entertaining. I know we don't have many NBA fans here but what the hell.

East Finals

Pistons vs. Heat: Well, here we go. The defending champion Pistons against Superman and Flash. First, Shaq will have to be healthy in this series for the Heat to win and I'm not sure he will be. He has had a lot of time off now so I'm gonna say he'll be ready to go. Wade has played out of his mind in the playoffs thus far and I expect that to continue. Now, the Pistons will try to beat you with their Defense, but last year they also had excellent production from their bench which I don't see happening for them this year. The Pistons will be a tough out but if Shaq is healthy he will comand a double team and it will leave Jones and Jones open for threes all day. I'm banking on Shaq in a game 7 in front of the home fans. Pick: Heat in 7

West Finals

Suns vs. Spurs: Classic match-up here between a team who wants to run and a team who wants to slow the game down to a crawl. Now, I love Duncan and I think he'll be huge, but I'm not banking on Parker and Manu having a huge series like everyone else is thinking. Those two still have their "What the fuck?" moments on the court. Steve Nash has showed everyone why he's the MVP in these playoffs. The guy has been tremendous. I like Amare to be big, I like Marion to be big. I think it's going to come down to Duncan and Nash willing their teams to the win and I like Nash to take it in game 7 at home. I haven't seen a team this year be able to slow down Nash and this offense and I don't think the Spurs will do it either. Pick: Suns in 7
