My friends and I would play wiffle ball and we would always be the same guys. To the point where we would keep score of wins and losses as our favorite ball players.
I can't remember many of my friends players. One was Don Mattingly, another was Paul Molitor and I was always Mark McGwire.
For pitching we would always argue who got to be Clemens so we just kept it as the batters name.
I realize this sounds super gay, but I was like 12-14 years old, gimme a break.
We always used to fight over who got to be Dave Kingman or Richie Zisk when we were kids. There were the odd Ivan DeJesus and and Jorge Orta claims as well, but Kingman and Zisk were the pinnacle as far as we were concerned.
My son was always Robin Ventura when he was younger and we did the whiffle ball thing. Now he practices pitching "frisbee" breaking pitches like Shingo Takatsu...I don't think he particularly cares that Shingo is getting rocked anymore, he just thinks the name is cool. I was allowed to play with a real baseball when I was twelve. Although....maybe I shouldn't have.

I'd do something equally gay, I'd play NBA Live 1996 & keep track of all these players, and have franchise mode kept in a notebook. I even had contracts etc. I did this with a few of my friends. Damn I was like 12/13 at the time...

I never played wiffle ball, I wasn't really into sports when I was younger. My friends and I preferred to go exploring since their was some woods not too far away and other interesting areas, and I preferred playing video games.

Holy crap. I can't believe you dont know what that is.
Its a plastic bat and plastic ball that you can throw all sorts of trick pitches with.

Not to mention the serious welts you could lay on someone with the bat. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
