^^^ Agreed. Spurs are a great example of a club that has been staggeringly badly managed for years and years. I'm sure they've quaffed loads more money than Arsenal in the last twenty years or so but have next to absolutely jack all to show for it.

But it isn't all because you still refuse to acknowledge that Man Utd and Blackburn for that matter have paid there way to a Premiership title or several. Did jack Walker earn the money through football...no....does it matter that Man Utd....only if you're a bitter Gunner whose pissed that West London have won a League for a change.

Man Utd, Real Madrid, Blackburn, Chelsea, Arsenal (how much was Henry, Reyes, Campbell (sure he was on a free but close to £100,000 a week is more than most would give him), all those French kids who where 2 million here and 2 million there add up to quite a sum too.) all bought titles but now because a new player is at the table everyone is having a moan.

P.S I'm a Bradford City fan and I know that money does not buy titles.

Also you seem to have shit on your argument rather than proved it as you pointed out that Chelsea spent £300 million on transfers and bought a title, then go on to claim that money doesn't buy titles at all because Spurs have spent loads and won nothing like Leeds. So surely if they spent loads, according to your theory they should have bought the title too. Make your mind up.

I never said Spurs spent loads, because they have spent nowhere near the amount Chelsea have.

Henry was roughly 7 mil, Reyes hasn't played a part in winning us a title and Campbell was FREE. We spent wisely and as much as other teams such as Spurs, Newcastle or Liverpool. Amounts many teams could afford, even prior to Henry we won the title you know.

Blackburn bought the title yes, Man U have 'sometimes', but their money is theirs through their footballing success.

ALso on the Sol Campbell thing, sure he was a free agent when u signed him but his signing on fee was nearly 2 million and you paid him well over the odds at 95,000 a week, so he may have had no transfer fee but free?? I wouldn't say so.;
