And yeah, The Rockies and Marlins would be interesting to see...Also, I'm not sure if the D-Rays are going to sign all their young players..I know Crawford has a long term deal but I dunno about the rest.

See if you can put one together for the White Sox. All I ask is you NOT include Albert Belle. Even though he holds the team record for season HRs, he was only around for a minute and was a complete tool the whole time.

I'm curious to see who you come up with as the best 3B.

I'm gonna do the Marlins next, since their All-Time team is probably pretty sick. I'll do the Rockies and the White Sox after that. And I can assure you Albert Belle will not be on that list.

Nice little feature you have running here, its interesting to see which teams can more or less claim well-traveled players as their own.

Just curious: no DH slot for AL teams? Just wondering is all.

That was something I wasnt sure about...I might go back and add one in for the Yanks and D-Rays. I also wasnt sure if one starting pitcher was enough. Considering its a five-man rotation. I might add one or two more starting pitchers for each team.

The biggest thing I'm having trouble with is deciding how important length of service is. For instance, what's more important, Jeff Conine's 8 solid seasons in Florida, or Moises Alou's one really good year? Or Pudge Rodriguez's one year versus Charles Johnson's 6 or so years. It's tough to decide. I'm still debating changing the Florida catcher to Pudge

I'm glad you guys are enjoying this. I'm actually having a lot of fun looking back on old teams looking for great players.

I for one appreciate your efforts, this has been a fun read so far. For what its worth, I wouldn't consider the steroid using faux-Pudge (Carlton Fisk: accept no imitations) for the Marlins for his short time there. To me he's a Ranger. I think multiple starters would be a good thing. I mean...look at the Dodgers, Yankees, Braves, Cardinals...teams with pitching pedigrees.

(yeah I know there's more than just those teams with storied pitching, I had to stop that sentence somewhere though lol)

Anyway, I still think of A-Rod as a Mariner. Right or wrong, that's what comes to mind for me. Same with Griffey. That's just me though, I think part of the fun of what you're doing is the debate factor...thats also the beauty of sports.

Yeah...for some positions it's a no-brainer (like Braves RF), but there could be some real debate here. I mean, I had to choose between DiMaggio and Mantle for Yankees CF. Smoltz, Wohlers, and Rocker for Braves RP. And there are sure to be lots more.

I added DHs for the AL teams, and one more starter for each team. I tell you, picking All-time Devil Rays starters is a tough task! They've had some decent hitters, but their pitching has ALWAYS been terrible

Yeah, I don't envy you there. Picking the best of the worst not a fun task, I imagine. What's scary is that Tampa team was almost the White Sox 15 years ago if they hadn't been able to extort a stadium deal out of the state here.
