Tejada is hands down the best SS in the game. No question. On a side note, I went to last nights Sox game. Tejada hit an absolute bomb over the monster.

In order:

Tejada
Jeter
Everyone else

I finally played live and it was fantastic.

Also Tejada has played in 777 straight games.

A MLB record. That has to count for something, right??

hahahaha...it's the longest current streak, but certainly not an MLB record.

I also think the Red Sox should have kept Cabrera. I think he was very important to the team's run last year, and I just think it was a mistake to let so many pivotal players go (Pedro, Cabrera, Dave Roberts, Mientkiewicz, Lowe). Lowe and Mientkiewicz were dying to get out, Roberts wanted a chance to start, and Pedro couldnt resist the money he was offered by the Mets, but they could have easily kept Cabrera. Renteria is good, but I think Cabrera is just as good, and cheaper

Nomar, when healthy, is right up there with Jeter and Tejada.

Yes its not even close. I do believe that Ripken has like 2,193 or something straight games. But 777 should count for something.

The problem is he hasnt really been healthy in quite some time. Its the wrist, then the achilles, and now his groin.
