But its a start..... haha Also Mister D. Tino Martinez is a stud. George needs to let his baseball people do their baseball jobs. Think about it.

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | Ah, the murderer Ray Lewis and the ubiquitous (and oh so annoying) Johnny Damon. Looks nice in spite of them. ;) "George needs to let his baseball people do their baseball jobs" What about getting rid of El Duque...5-1, ERA under 3? I always thought that was a silly trade on the Yank's part...a proven pitcher having a down year for a fluke pitcher coming off a great year....but hey, we'll take it. That was the GM that made that trade, not Steinbrenner (pretty sure anyway). I think they should just back the truck up and clean out the whole organization there in the Bronx. ![]()

According to Tom Verducci of ESPN.com, when Roger Clemens won his last game (#330), he became the winningest pitcher alive, either retired or active. In fact, this is so rare, there have only been 9 Winningest Pitchers Alive since pro baseball started in 1871. By comparison, there have been 11 popes in that span. Here's the list: Al Spalding 253 1871-1884 Bobby Mathews 297 1885-1887 Pud Galvin 364 1888-1902* Tim Keefe 342 1902 Cy Young 511 1902-1955* Lefty Grove 300 1955-1961 Warren Spahn 363 1961-2003* Steve Carlton 329 2003-2005 Roger Clemens 330 2005- *Died as Winningest Pitcher Alive

Rep Power: 71 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Pistons-Pacers tied 2-2 @ Detroit 7:00 pm Sonics-Spurs tied 2-2 @ San Antonio 9:30 pm Yes...I'll be watching some B-Ball tonight. After the Sonics got killed in the first two games they've come on strong. My boy Ray Allen has come to life in the series and Luke Ridnour has come out of nowhere and playing like a star...I'll be rooting on the Sonics. The Pacers and Pistons have been going back and forth here with Defense being the key. Both teams have played tremendous D. I knew the Pacers would be tough because of their heart but I didn't think they would have a chance to actually win the series which I think can still happen. I'll be rooting on the Pacers.

Joe Crede kills a Greg Maddux pitch straight to left, into the wind, that hits the screen separating the ballpark from the street. On the replay they showed Maddux watching it go, and once it came down you could plainly see Maddux say "Wow." lol I love baseball.

The potential new owners have some revolutionary ideas for the league, including having games played.
