Just for reference sake. The first number is years played in the league, the second number is number of Pro Bowls. The list went all the way back to 1936, but I shortened it to the Super Bowl era (1967-Present)

From players that I remember (starting from the mid-80's), I would say the definite busts are Courtney Brown, Tim Couch, Ki-Jana Carter, Steve Emtman, and Aundray Bruce

I would say the players that were definitely worth the #1 pick are Vick, Peyton Manning, Pace, Aikman, Bo (for as good as he was before he got injured), Bruce Smith, and Elway

The jury is still out on Eli, Palmer, and Carr. The rest have had solid, though unspectacular careers

As 1st overall, I'd say Dan Wilkinson was definitely a bust too. The guy has floated from team to team his whole career and done very little at all. I think he had one solid-ish season, but that was it.

Keyshawn Johnson was definitely not a value #1 pick ..

The guy is a solid player at best.

Yeah, I was debating whether to put Wilkinson in the "bust" category or "solid" category. He definitely wasnt worth a #1 overall, but I thought he's been a decent enough DT, and for a long enough period of time, that I would spare him the "bust" label.

Same with Keyshawn

2002 Julius Peppers, de North Carolina Carolina 3 1

There's some good ones in there, most notably Peppers, McNabb, Arrington, Boselli, Faulk, Neil Smith, Bennett, and Dickerson. but I'd say for the most part the #2 pick has been disappointing. Not to mention it includes one of the biggest busts of all time, Tony Mandarich, and THE biggest bust of all time, Ryan Leaf

*edit* and going back a few years further, is my man LT!!! How could I forget?
