Two NFL trades today...

Wow, and both times one team gets robbed.

The really, really shocking one was Washington trading their 3rd this year, plus a 1st and 4th next year, for Denver's 1st this year, which is 25th overall. And THEN it's reported that the 'Skins are targeting QB Jason Campbell at 25! The Broncos got an absolute STEAL in this move, and will have two picks in next year's (much, much stronger) draft.

The other trade was Oakland sending CB Phil Buchanon to Houston for a 2nd AND a 3rd this year. Buchanon is a guy who's underachieved since coming into the league, and I would have been surprised to see the Raiders get just a 3rd for him, let alone a 2nd and 3rd.

Both are pretty bad but the Skins trade make absolutely no sense. 25th overall and it's probably for Campbell? I don't even like Campbell, he'd be a second rounder on my board.

No kidding.

Campbell is a good quarterback, and definitely decent value in the 2nd round, but to give up next year's 1st (in a draft much better for QBs), as well as a 3rd and 4th is ridiculous. I hope there's a team that likes him more than the Skins though, because Green Bay hold the 24th pick and I'd love to see them trade out of that spot.
