I'm not surprised Kyle Orton is at the bottom of the 2nd round..I really don't like that guy as a starter in this league..he'll be ok as a 2nd stringer though. And does anybody know the WR from Hampton? I've never heard of him before and would like some info.

He was kicked out of Florida St. on some gambling issues among other things. He spent last year in the Arena League and threw 78 TD's as a rookie. The guy has a cannon for an arm and is really athletic...somebody will take a chance on him, but who?

Some team is going to be afraid they'll lose him in the 2nd round, and I figure that's where he'll go. Green Bay has two 2nd-rounders and I'd be open to a McPherson pick. Jerome Mathis, the guy from Hampton, put up blazing 40 times at the Combine, and has shot up a lot of draft boards. I obviously haven't seen him play or anything, but I think he was also pretty productive in college. I agree that Orton will be nothing as an NFL QB. I was skeptical last season when he had that roaring start, but to me there is just nothing exceptional about him. If he gets in the right system he could provide decent numbers, but he's not going to do anything to change a game. And as for Arrington, there are always so many good running backs in every draft. I could see JJ going before #60, but he's still not one of the elite backs.

I just think he'll be productive. As for McPhearson, I could totally see someone taking him with the 2nd round pick. They'll stay away from a first rounder, but the longer he stays on the board people will get scared to be the one's that let him go. I know if I was a GM and didn't take the guy and then he turns out to be a star it'd make me sick.. But let me ask you guys..Would you rather take the chance because of the upside and maybe it turns out being a bad pick up or would you play it safe and not take him based on his past?

This seems like one of the more unpredictable drafts of recent years. I've seen mock drafts with Benson going as high as 4th and as low as 14th. I've seen Smith first, I've seen Rodgers first, and I've seen Edwards first. I've seen Mike Williams going before Edwards. I've seen Troy Williamson going before Mike Williams. I've seen Antrel Rolle in the top 5. I've seen Pac-Man go before him. The fact that Rodgers could either go #1 or fall into the 20's is crazy! I'm very curious to see how things turn out this weekend.

I really like this Edwards choice for them. It should work just nicely. If Chicago wants to get back on the map, they should take Mike Williams
