I used to skateboard. Anyone remember that?

Does anyone skateboard here? I'm assuming this will be a worthless thread but why not.

I used to sk8. I had a Powell deck with Spitfire wheels, and blue and green grip tape.

I don't know why, but it seems really funny that you used to skateboard, Miakal. I don't even know what you look like. I'm picturing the guy in your avatar, and Uncle Jesse, and the naked soccer ref, and Abe Lincoln... skateboarding. Plus you're probably old enough it was with one of those Bart Simpson boards.

I wasn't a hardcore skater. I had a skateboard and would sometimes try to skate, that's about it.

I was always too cool for physical activity.

Yeah, I was never much of a real skater either. It was all in the image. Even now, when I tell people I used to skateboard, it's mostly to do with posturing. But I said the same things back then too, so I'm allowed.

I was actually quite big on physical activity when I was younger. Even now, I bet I can throw a baseball further than anyone else on this board.

I found skateboarding too difficult. I couldn't stay on it and would often veer into heavy traffic.

I dislike stakeboarders immensly.

Not only do they all SUCK, but they often fall off their boards sending their boards screaming into cars and denting them.

Skateboarders show no respect for other peoples stuff whatsoever. In Boston they constantly break shit, knock over mailboxes to do jumps that they can never complete etc etc.

Just Monday I got a 4 inch huge red scrape on my door from one of those filthy pukes.

Street skaters can bea pain in the ass but I used to try skate in a park and you meet some cool people.

I seriously suck at skateboarding. I'm quite good at mountain boarding. Does that count?
