Maybe this is the reason so few people like womens hockey. I am a fan, and i get bored after watching this. Every single final is Canada vs. USA.

Predictions? How about by the multiples of goals that Canada will throttle their opponents with.

This tournament is a complete farce, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Kazakhstan, and China have no business competing with the "only two." Almost to the point whereas there shouldn't even be a tournament. Just make it a seven-game series between Canada and the U.S. and let these other nations actually develop their hockey programs before throwing out teams of inept "players"

It's a farce for hockey, that and everything else.

Even if somebody sucks you can't just exclude them from the tournament and say, "Ok...Canada and U.S. play each other now!"

If these countries want to continue to get smoked everytime they play I say let them. I think the scores are pretty funny actually.

They don't belong there, women's hockey isn't developed to the point where there should even be a World Championship. For the past ten years, its been the same two teams in the Finals. The whole process is repetitive and flawed.

When these other nations develop their programs, then there is call for a World Championship, it's just a gauntlet run for every non North American nation.

This day last year was one day before the Flames and Canucks game 1 and now this year because of the stupid lockout I found myself desperate and watched the Canadian women play Russia and Sweden. While I find the lack of contact boring I could get over that. But I hate games where one team dominates and has a pretty much 100% chance of winning the second the puck drops.
