So, in Las Vegas you can bet on all types of things for the Super Bowl. What team will win, over/under on total points, who will win the coin flip, who will score the first TD, will McNabb throw a TD or INT first, etc. So I was thinking each KYN member could have a certain allocation of "KYN bucks" or something like that, and make wagers on the game. Whoever ends with the most money wins absolutely nothing, but I think it might still be fun. If like 5 or more people say they'll be in, I'll look up odds and try to come up with a contest.

Each player has 10,000 "dollars" to bet with. Then, there will be lots of different categories, and the odds for each one. You can bet as much or as little as you want for each category. Such as "Who will score the first TD?". Lets say the choices are: Corey Dillon (3/1) Brian Westbrook (4/1) Terrell Owens (6/1) Deion Branch (10/1) ...and so forth Someone who puts 100 "dollars" on Deion Branch and Branch scores the first TD, that person gets 1000 "Dollars". I was thinking each person has to make at least 5 bets, so people dont just put all their money on one of the teams. And it will inspire people to pick from some of the more exotic categories. Quote:

Seriously, there's hundreds of different things you can bet on You can bet on whether or not the Eagles will score more points than Allen Iverson's combined points, rebounds, and assists. Crazy shit like that

Rep Power: 37 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ok, here's how it goes. There 25 things to bet on. You have 10,000 KYN Bucks (which buys you absolutely nothing) to wager with. If the odds are listed as a positive number, that is how much profit you make for each $100 bet. If the odds are listed as a negative number, that is how much you need to wager to earn a $100 profit. If the odds are listed as a ratio (e.g. 10/1), your profit is the ratio multiplied by the size of your wager. you may wager as much or as little to each category as you see fit. Please state which bets you are placing and for how much money There are 25 categories. I assigned $400 to each category, for a total of $10,000. How about top 3 scorers are not eligible? That way the winner can't pick from everybody (me that is) I am a sitting duck on this contest. lol
