So now that the deal is final and one of the greatest Home Run hitters ever is heading to the Baltimore Orioles and one of the smallest parks in the AL what does this all mean?
Well, Sosa will have a great year I believe but the Orioles will finish 3rd behind the yanks and sox once again.
However, the O's lineup is very strong (Sosa, Tejada, Mora, Gibbons, Palmeiro, Lopez, etc.) and will most likely decide the AL East this year. The yanks and sox almost always split the season series and the Jays and Rays will suck ass, so it might come down to whoever loses the most 9-7 games to the O's this season. what you think?
I think Sosa is trouble wherever he goes, but more-so to his own team. It's impossible to tell how he'll perform with the new steroid policies, and as "hitter-friendly" as Baltimore's park is, right-handed hitters have very little advantage.
Well ok, your assuming he was on steroids and your right he probably was, but if a high level ball player wants to cheat bad enough he will find a way.
If Sosa is walking out and ego tripping all season long you folks are completely fucked.

I think Sosa will bat about .250, with 35 HR's, 100 RBI's and 150 strikeouts. Meanwhile, the O's "Ace" Sidney Ponson will have an ERA above 4.50
I think neither me, nor the Red Sox fans on this forum, are scared of the Orioles
