Vikings vs. Eagles

Am I the only person that thinks Minnesota will not only cover the 9.5 points but win outright?

Philly stinks without TO.

This game is coming down to the Vikes' pass offense versus the Eagles secondary. I expect Moss to still be hobbled out there, and he's gonna find it worlds harder to find room against Brown and Sheppard, compared to GB. I also wouldn't be surprised if he's a little tentative, knowing that he's got two Pro Bowl safeties looking to snap him in half.

The Vikings defense is still horrible, so there's gotta be some way McNabb and Westbrook can move the ball. The Eagles take this one.

I think that Minnesota had a very poor gameplan, especially offensively, in this one

Did anyone notice how many screen passes they ran? I mean, I know that Philly's a big-blitzing team, and a screen pass is a good counter to a blitz, but it seemed like every other play they were throwing a screen. Eventually the other team catches on

And if they werent throwing a screen, Culpepper was throwing to Moss in double coverage. At one point in the second half they showed an interesting stat. Moss had only 2 receptions, but was thrown to 10 times. Obviously, something wasnt working there, and Culpepper shouldve started looking to Marcus Robinson and Nate Burleson and even Kelly Campbell more

The Vikings played like shit.

What I dont get is there was like 9 minutes left in the game and they are down by 3 scores. Its 4th and 2 on the 40 and they PUNT IT?!?!? WTF was that?

Normally I hate mediocre players who are full of themselves *cough Keyshawn cough*, but this quote from Freddie Mitchell follwing yesterday's 2-TD game is hysterical:

"I'd like to thank my hands for being great"
