Phoenix Suns look sick!

I know a lot of you probably don't watch much NBA and I really only watch some of the playoffs but I thought I would bring up the Suns for a second seeing how they are on pace to break the Chicago Bulls record of 72-10 in a single season.

The Suns right now are 31-4 and just beat the crap out of the Heat (team with best record in the East) 122-107. They are averaging 110 points per game and are just running up and down the court every night blowing people out. Amare Stoudamire has become a monster at like 20 years of age, and Nash, Shawn Marion, Q-Rich, and Joe Johnson are all playing at a very high level.

They will probably fade just like most run and gun teams and the Spurs or someone will end up winning the title, but at least they play a little defense. I'm watching Sportscenter and I thought I'd bring 'em up.

Jesus I just checked the stats from tonight, and the Suns only had SEVEN players get on the floor against Miami. That's even more impressive considering how fast Shaq can wear you out in the post (he did shoot 16 for 20).

What's the NBA?

In all seriousness. I heard about that the other night and thought to myself? "Self, that is a very impressive record"

I remember when Jordans bulls were 72-10 one year. I dont think that will ever be beaten. Jordan is the man.

The only person on the Suns that comes to mind is Amare Stoudamire. (spelling)

DD's Favorite of All Times

I finally played live and it was fantastic.

Amare wouldn't be playing as good without Nash. Just like some people feel Pippen wasn't as good without Jordan. I hope the Suns don't break the record and I don't think they will. The Bulls of the 90's are one of my favorite teams ever and the NBA didn't suck so much like it does now.

I keep track of the NBA, and yes, the Suns are disgusting. I dont think they'll reach 70 wins though. Thats really tough, and you basically have to go an entire season without any major injuries or losing streaks. Really tough to do. Especially since they dont play defense that well

Stoudamire is a beast. And to think, he got picked two picks after the Knicks drafted Nene and traded him for Antonio "ouch, my knee" McDyess...

5 losses in a row now. The common denominator in those losses: Steve Nash was out. If Nash gets healthy and the Suns continue to shine (no pun intended), Nash is a serious MVP candidate

They actually have a great starting five, and most of them are name players: Nash, Quentin Richardson, Joe Johnson, Shawn Marion (he was on the Olympic team), Stoudemire
