Best NFL Coach

The overwhelming consensus in the New England area is that Bill Belichick is basically god and there is no one even close to his football knowledge.

What is the overall feeling from people that live thousands of miles away.

Name who you feel are the top 5 coaches in the NFL.

To me they are in order:

Bill Belichick

Andy Reid

Jon Gruden (I realize I may take some heat for this one, but I feel he is very talented)

Jeff Fisher

Bill Cohwer (As much as I cant the Steelers and think that they are completely full of themselves, he does win quite a bit)

The only other coach i feel is on Belichick's level is John Fox. What he's done with Carolina the past two seasons has been incredible

Andy Reid is up there too. Last year Philly was 12 mil under the cap, and they still had the best record in the NFC, although thry couldnt make it to the Super Bowl. Most teams are struggling to make it under the cap, and Philly is comfortably under it, and winning too

I guess to round out a top 5 I'll say Bill Parcells (although not signing someone like Kerry Collins and settling for Testaverde was moronic) and Tony Dungy

Obviously Belichick. The Patriots were pretty much a joke until he came along. This question shouldn't have even been asked. Anyone who disagrees is a complete asshole.

Replace "Belichick" with "Fox" and "Patriots" with "Panthers", and that sentence makes just as much sense.

Again, before you jump down my throat, i still think Belichick is the BEST coach in the NFL. I'm just saying its not the landslide that people in NE seem to think it is

How about some opinions on worst coach. This one I think is a landslide, and its Mike Martz. He's really really really bad, both on the field and off.

Also, I cant forget Jim Haslett. After all, what team has underachieved more than the Saints the last 3 years?

Haslett would get my vote for worst coach in the NFL.

Anyway, best coach in the NFL has to be Belichick with what the Pats have been able to accomplish in the salary cap era. I love John Fox though, that guy has been amazing. Also, Fisher and Cohwer have had tremendous careers with the Titans and Steelers. Anybody who thinks Fisher should be fired (and there are people) after this season is a complete fucking idiot.

Yeah, i like how Fisher and Cowher think outside the box. Like how Fisher kept onside-kicking against Indy, and how Pittsburgh drafted a QB who never played WR before (Randle El) and they made him into a solid receiver and return man
