Hall of Famers

I was reading about the upcoming voting for the baseball Hall of Fame, and it got me thinking about players who, if they retired today and never played another game ever again, would make it to the Hall of Fame. Here are the players I could come up with off the top of my head

Roger Clemens
Randy Johnson
Greg Maddux
Tom Glavine
Mariano Rivera
Ken Griffey Jr
Barry Bonds (assuming steroids doesnt affect his admission to the Hall)
Sammy Sosa
Mike Piazza
Ivan Rodriguez
Pedro Martinez
Rafael Palmeiro
John Smoltz

Old guys who have had good careers but i think will fall just short:

Curt Schilling
Jeff Bagwell
Craig Biggio
Gary Sheffield
Fred McGriff
Omar Vizquel
Frank Thomas
Roberto Alomar (I was torn on where to put him. I figured the spitting incident and his poor numbers the last few years might hurt his chances)

These guys either have a good shot, or have potential, depending on what they do the rest of their careers:

Derek Jeter
Alex Rodriguez
Albert Pujols
Scott Rolen
Manny Ramirez
David Ortiz
Mark Prior
Jim Thome
Torii Hunter
Johan Santana
Vladimir Guererro
Richie Sexson
Tim Hudson
Barry Zito
Mark Mulder
Ichiro
Magglio Ordonez
