I think Reggie Bush should win the shit hands down. Nobody was more exciting to watch than him this year in college football. Everytime the guy touched the ball he was running 50 or 60 or 70 yards down the field. He is USC's MVP and that should take care of Leinart in the voting.
Whether, rushing, Receiving, or punt returning, Bush can score from anywhere. He has something like 15 TD's and they all contributed to the team in big games. I can only imagine how many yards rushing the guy would have had if they didn't have another guy splitting the carries.
I don't see how Bush can win it. He might be the most exciting, game-changing player in college football, but there's no way he saw enough of the field to win the Heisman. AND he's only a sophomore.
I haven't really been following league stat leaders this year, but I imagine the nominees will be guys like Leinart and Jason White and Aaron Rodgers... basically the quarterbacks on top-ranked teams. Auburn's RBs will probably cancel each other outl. Actually, come to think of it, I bet Braylon Edwards will get a lot of votes.

well, they announced the 5 finalists, and neither Edwards nor the Auburn RBs are on it
They are:
Reggie Bush
Matt Leinart
Jason White
Adrian Peterson
Alex Smith (Utah QB)

I can't believe I forgot Adrian Peterson, that guy is a MONSTER. If the whole cancel-out theory continues to work, it looks like yet another minor NFL prospect will win the Heisman (no knock to Smith, his team has been fantastic this year). Actually I somehow doubt they'd give it to Smith, the voters aren't usually friendly to the mid-majors I don't think.
Jason White is the only senior on that list, so I guess it wouldn't be too too preposterous to suggest an underclassman will get it... perhaps even Bush.
