Who should be in the sugar bowl? Pick 2 of the following:
USC
Oklahoma
Auburn
I would like to see Oklahoma v. Auburn, although it's probably the least likely. USC was lucky to win today against UCLA, and USC is a few lucky breaks from being a 2 or 3 loss team. Of the three undefeated teams, they have looked the most beatable the most often. Auburn has only had one close game this year, and that was against a very good LSU team. They have also had a much tougher schedule. While the only really good team USC beat is Cal, Auburn had to play LSU, Georgia, and Tennessee twice. Oklahoma also has a tougher schedule than USC, and has only won by less than a touchdown once, while USC has won by less than 7 points 3 times, and won another by only 8 points. I think if USC hadn't started the year as number one, they wouldn't be in the Sugar Bowl.
you forgot the fact that their best player was unfairly ruled ineligible by the NCAA...
Put Mike Williams on USC and you can basically make this question "Who deserves to play USC in the Sugar Bowl?"

I'm not a huge college football fan, but from what i've seen of Auburn, they're definitely national title material
I'm tempted to discount Oklahoma, simply because of what they did last year, which is loading up on home games against creampuffs early in the season, and then they lost badly in both the Big 12 championship and the national championship game.

I'd like to see USC/Auburn just for the sake of what would be a wicked, wicked football game. I find OU hard to watch sometimes, but then that might be because the only times I see them they're kicking the shit out of teams. I love watching Leinart and Bush and USC's offense, and I love watching Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown run guys over for Auburn.
Who deserves it more? USC, followed by OU, I guess -- it's a case of last year factoring into this year, but when you have so many good teams, that becomes necessary.
Reggie Bush is a stud. He probably didn't put up the kind of numbers necessary to really be considered for the Heisman, but he can do some pretty incredible things when he gets the ball. He's an extremely dangerous player.
He would have, if given the touches. He doesn't even start at running back really, but his impact his felt so huge on every game, it's nuts. He's also only 19 or 20, he'll be at USC for at least one more year, should see more carries next time.
