All I have to say is Sheffield and Matsui are awesome and they own the Red Sox. They deserved to win tonight. They were just too nasty. I'm glad I didn't pay to see that abomination. If the Yankees keep playing like this, the Cardinals are in some serious trouble.

My wife said something funny last night, (she is just as big a sox fan as I am)

"Well if the Sox havent won in 86 years and no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit, then the Sox have to make it as interesting as possible."

I rolled my eyes and took a dump. I think this sucks. They will probably win the next two and lose 4-2 in the series.


I mean at least they made it to the ALCS. I am not giving up hope, but it sure as shit doesnt look good. I tip my hat to the Yankees offense. They have been amazing.

Matsui has killed the Sox since coming over from Japan.

Yeah a lot of shit happened last night to help the Red Sox win that game. Dave Roberts stealing 2nd base. Then in the 10th (I think), A-Rod was robbed of a hit by Cabrera. There was a man on 2nd. So if the Yankees scored, it would have been over. Plus Leskanic and Lowe pitched good. So yeah, it definitly was a miracle. Now they have Pedro vs. Mussina tonight. And if it goes further than that, Schilling will start tommorow against Lieber. Good pitching on both sides. It would be good if they could actually pull off a victory tonight. But Mussina is a tough pitcher.

I almost forgot to mention Foulke. He made the whole 9th inning tie possible. Everyone really came through for the team last night. Except for that POS Bellhorn. What a fuckin' loser. They should put Pokey on 2nd base for the rest of the series. Bellhorn practically blew that game last night with his error. The guy seems to make an error in every game.
