| I'll say San Fran over Boston in 4, no particular reason. I find it difficult to predict postseason baseball. | |||||||||||||||

| It is impossible to predict baseball. Who knew that Steve Bartman would cost the Cubbies a chance at the World Series last year? Reason's why the NL will NOT win the World Series this year............ - AL has the home field advantage in the WS, therefore all games go through the rabid NY or Boston. (No other team has a chance in the AL) _The NL doesnt use the DH so they are automatically at a disadvantage going into AL parks. A NL teams 7 and 8 hitters are at best equal to an AL's 8 and 9 hitter. - The pitching of the Giants, Cardnials and Braves is simply not that good. Pitching and Defense wins in the playoffs. None of these teams are particularly fantastic in these fields. | |

Why are you talking about the A's? The Sox have destroyed A's pitching all year. And it won't be any different in the post-season. | |||||||||||||||

| The A's have no shot in hell. Texas has a better shot of advancing in the post season. The A's may have the pitching but there lineup and defense is horrible. On a side note, Eric Byrnes is the most annoying baseball player in the game today. | |

| Simon, you need to look things up before you claim them. You say the A's have horrible defense, yet they have the highest fielding percentage in the AL. | ||||||||||||||

| The A's cant hit. They better hope Mulder and Zito get their shit together. Plus, Texas and Anaheim are knocking on the door. They're both only 2 games back. | |||||||||||||||
