I'll say San Fran over Boston in 4, no particular reason. I find it difficult to predict postseason baseball.

It is impossible to predict baseball.

Who knew that Steve Bartman would cost the Cubbies a chance at the World Series last year?

Reason's why the NL will NOT win the World Series this year............

- AL has the home field advantage in the WS, therefore all games go through the rabid NY or Boston. (No other team has a chance in the AL)

_The NL doesnt use the DH so they are automatically at a disadvantage going into AL parks. A NL teams 7 and 8 hitters are at best equal to an AL's 8 and 9 hitter.

- The pitching of the Giants, Cardnials and Braves is simply not that good. Pitching and Defense wins in the playoffs. None of these teams are particularly fantastic in these fields.

Why are you talking about the A's? The Sox have destroyed A's pitching all year. And it won't be any different in the post-season.

The A's have no shot in hell. Texas has a better shot of advancing in the post season.

The A's may have the pitching but there lineup and defense is horrible.

On a side note, Eric Byrnes is the most annoying baseball player in the game today.

Simon, you need to look things up before you claim them. You say the A's have horrible defense, yet they have the highest fielding percentage in the AL.

The A's cant hit. They better hope Mulder and Zito get their shit together.

Plus, Texas and Anaheim are knocking on the door. They're both only 2 games back.

A's are terrible against the Sox. They cannot win because the sox are better.
