The first NFL Sunday of the year.

I thought the games yesterday were very good.
Notable for the first week:
Deion Sanders did terrible.
T. Owens got 3 touchdowns.
R. Moss got 2 touchdowns.
D. Culpepper threw for 5 touchdowns.
San Diego Chargers won.

My thoughts:

the Jets-Bengals game was really fun to watch. Carson Palmer looked good, besides the pick at the end. and Chad Johnson is fucking incredible. I literally jumped out of my seat when he made that big TD grab. Curtis Martin looked like the Curtis of the late-90s. 196 for a back his age is amazing. Plus, Pennington looked sharp, and Justin Mccareins played well

My Giants got their asses handed to them. I was expecting it, so its not a big deal. but still...3 TDs for T.O.??? That made it hurt even more

Roy Williams had one of the sickest catches I've ever seen. Try to catch a replay if you havent seen it. and Charles Rogers broke his collarbone...again. That really sucks for the Lions. They had a good thing going, including their first road win SINCE THE YEAR 2000!!!! Hopefully Roy will step up.

The Vikings showed just how overrated the Cowboys are. They got blown out every time they played a good team last year (including the playoffs, where they got shut out by the Panthers).

Quentin Griffin showed why the Portis-Bailey trade was a good one for Denver. Would have had 4 TD's if he didnt fumble at the goal line. Plus, Bailey had a pick, played on offense catching one pass, and held Tony Gonzalez to only 2 catches for 17 yards.

The Browns killed the Ravens, which I did not see coming. Maybe all they needed was a QB??? Jamal Lewis ran for 500 yards against them last year (not an exaggeration...he had games of 295 and 205), but they held him to 57 yards. Thats gotta feel good for Cleveland.
