| LOL @ the Dodgers http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1849414 Apparently the Dodgers felt they were a little too successful this year, so the went and made one of the worst trades that I can remember. Dodgers get: P Brad Penny P Hee Seop Choi P Bill Murphy (Double A) Marlins get: P Guillermo Mota C Paul Lo Duca OF Juan Encarnacion Am I the only one thinks that this trade is an absolute steal for the Marlins? Mill Murphy is supposedly a pretty highly touted prospect, but Mota has been lights out this year, meaning if you weren't leading after the seventh inning against the Dodgers, you would lose. Paul Lo Duca was a big part of that line up as well. As Giants fan, I elated with this trade. | ||||||||||||||

  | Yeah, nobody around the East Coast can figure that one out either. There is a lot of speculation that LA is rallying hard to get Randy Johnson (even though he has already turned a trade down to LA), so maybe they were trying to get a couple of guys that Arizona wanted, namely Penny. But the more I look at it, the more I say. WTF?!?!? I believe the Dodgers got robbed in this one. Who the hell is their catcher going to be?? | |||||||||||||||
