What the hell are you talking about? Jason Giambi wasn't even in it. Miguel Tejada won by beating out Lance Berkman in the final. Ortiz was in it, but didn't make it out of the first round.
ESPN played the 2002 derby right before this year's. thats probably what Hyde saw
I cant believe how Tejada was jacking them out of the park. i was making fun of him beforehand for being in it, and he set the record for most homeruns overall (27) and most in one round (15). That was impressive

Ironicly enough, he was a replacement for Jason Giambi.
It looked to me like Sammy was getting robbed with a lot of crappy pitches. He even had to chase a bunch of them. The pitcher was tossing curves and sliders and seemed to be side arm. He should asked for him to be replaced.

You must have seen a repeat of the 2002 derby.
You mean I watched this fucking thing and it wasn't even the right one? These assholes could have thrown me a fucking bone by saying "THIS IS THE 2002 HOME RUN DERBY!" Oops To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Oh well. This is the first time I've actually watched it, and it didn't really appeal to me anyway.
