was aboslutely pathetic tonight against the Yankees. Lowe really had nothing to lose. He should have aim for Sheffield, Jeter, and A-rod's fat heads. Absolutely disgusting baseball! To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
HAHAHAHA well seriously, what the fuck is with all of the errors? It's pathetic. Pedro will shut the Yanks down on Thursday for sure. And hopefully Wakefield will tommorow. But I'm not counting on it.
Yeah he's gone. They'll sign Varitek and Pedro. Lowe will probably end up signing a contract for $500,000 a year with a terrible team. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Arroyo shifted down to the minors and replaced by Kim.
the red sox def shouldn't sign lowe after the numbers he is putting up this season...maybe they should send him down to pawtucket for like a couple weeks and then bring him back to see if he can do better or sumtin
Unfortunetly Rambo, The Red Sox are unable to send Lowe to the minors. Once a player reaches a certain amount of major league time under his belt, he is unable to be sent to the minors without his permission.
So not gonna happen, plus the fact that its not the answer. Bottom line is the Sox need to play better defense. Its not all Lowe's fault by any means. He is not a number 1 starter and will never be a number 1 starter. The quicker Sox fans realize that, the quicker they will get off the Tobin Bridge.
Not for nothing, but Rambo and Hyde represent what is widely known as "The Fellowship of the Miserable" here in Boston. Quick to point blame and will jump on whatever the media hands you that day.
I consider myself a much more rational Red Sox fan. Water always seeks its level, and so does a baseball team. 162 games is a long ass time, and I will guaruntee that come October the Sox WILL be in the playoffs.
I also wouldnt be the least bit suprised if Nomar is on another team August 1st of this year. Dont be suprised if Houston, LA or Anaheim go after him hard.
I have also heard rumblings of Mike Sweeney heading this way to Boston. Not my favorite player but i will take him.

RELAX RED SOX FANS !!!!!!
I'm going to have to disagree with you about Nomar. They waited a long time to get him back, so it would make much sense to get rid of him. But I think he'll be gone next year, along with Lowe. Pedro isn't going anywhere. Pedro wants him to stay. Manny wants him to stay. And they want to keep Manny happy. Varitek is loved by just about everyone, so I don't see him going anywhere either. Bottom line, they'll sign Pedro and Varitek before everything's said and done.
"Thank you very much, David Ortiz!" Another wonderful defensive game for the Red Sox. Tim Wakefield pitched great tonight. But he's got nothing to show for it thanks to Ortiz and Nomar. The offense wasn't that great either. When you have the bases loaded and no outs, you should be able to fucking score.

I hope I remember this thread in October because I think you're wrong. So far they've been unable to keep pace with the Yankees, and they're going to have some stiff competition from the west for the Wild Card.
