Yeah, Nomar singled his first time up. After seeing his short performance last night, it looks like he's ready to be back. Nixon will be playing for the Pawsox soon.. Meaning he will be back very shortly as well. And hearing about Kevin Brown made me laugh.

I'm still baffled about Daubach being sent back to Pawtucket... I mean, did they just overlook Crespo? Crespo has no business being in the majors.

Also, I was surprised by the "Pokey" chants last night. Bellhorn screwed a play up, and the crowd started chanting "POKEY POKEY POKEY!" That must have made Bellhorn feel great.

I don't know how many people noticed this. But in the first game against San Diego, someone on the Padres singled. He was standing on 1st base and some guy in the crowd yells "HEY, YOU LOOK JUST LIKE POKEY REESE, ONLY A LITTLE DIFFERENT!" I spit my drink all over myself. That's the funniest comment I've heard someone yell at a sporting event.
