| Also, I believe the Angels usually spank Wakefield and Arroyo. I could be wrong, but I think they have very high ERAs against the Angels this year. | ||||||||||||||

| Jesus Simon, have you even watched the Angels this year? Brendan Donnelly, Fransisco Rodriguez and Troy Percival are probably the best 7th, 8th, 9th inning trio in all of baseball. The fact of the matter is, you and your precious Redsox are about to find out how good that bullpen is. Bartolo Colon is a fat piece of shit that has won 18 games. He's also looking awfully good going into the post season, as is Jarrod Washburn. I would be worried if I were you. | ||||||||||||||

What is with you and hindsight anyway? Who ended up getting the wildcard in the NL, Houston or San Francisco?

| Actually I just hit Reply after reading Simon's post, missed your's. No need to fret. Thank you though. edit: I missed DMW's post too... Simon, sometimes I get the feeling you just make sh*t up for the sake of sounding knowledgeable (ala my post in Wayne Rooney thread) | |||||||||||||||

Haha. Maybe. Fact of the matter is, not a single one of us knows random teams that we dont follows bullpen ERA. If we did, we should be working on Sportscenter. Sometimes I just say shit to sound like a typical Yahoo Red Sox fan. Hey I will tell you this. I could probably tell you 15-25 players on every major league team without looking at anything. I could give you basic stats on just about anyone in baseball off the top of my head and also am way ahead of the curve when it comes to predicting young baseball talent. I knew who Albert Pujols was when people were calling him (Poo-Joles). I dont pretend to be Peter Gammons but I do know that when it comes to MLB and the NFL I know what I am talking about. Not that is means anything at all but, I listen to sports radio EVERY single time I am in the car. Pretty pathetic actually. After you filter out the 90% of bullshit you actually can learn something. haha __________________________________________ P.S. See any Hyde post from this year...........That is a Yahoo Red Sox fan. Before you fly off the handle Hyde. I have totally noticed this about you. If Pedro has a bad game, he sucks. If he throws a one hitter he is the best pitcher in the history of the game. P.P.S God I get so annoyed when Freak says I dont know shit about sports. ;)

| Why are you using me as a method of defending yourself. Freak already knows I'm a "Yahoo" fan. That doesn't change the fact that you just said something very stupid. Anaheim is VERY capable of eliminating the Red Sox. I love how everyone keeps saying "Oh we swept them last time. We'll definitly beat them." It's not that easy. But I'd like to see the Red Sox play the Yankees in the ALCS again. So I hope Anaheim chokes. But I wouldn't count on it. | ||||||||||||||

Laugh my Fucking ass off. It was so good that I actually typed out the whole thing. I took the liberty of actually looking up the stats, and yes it backed up my thoughts that the Anaheim pitching staff is AVERAGE at best. Here are some stats DMW. Wow, you were right Bartolo Colon did have 18 wins.......how bout mentioning the rest of his stats. 12 losses 5.01 ERA 38 Homeruns given up. 0 Complete Games 0 Shutouts 158 K's in 208 innings (ehh, thats OK i guess. Isnt he a strikeout pitcher?) 215 hits in 208 innings 122 runs allowed in 208 innings Your right DMW, that is SCARY shit for a number 1 starter. Ok, lets examine your buddy Jarrod Washburn shall we? Yeah about the same stats as Derek Lowe WHO DIDNT EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFF ROTATION !!!! 11-8 4.64 ERA Not bad, but not very good either. After looking at the stats, you were right. Donnelly, Percival and Frankie are good pitchers but the fact of the matter is you cant use those guys every night. Especially if the Red Sox tune up the starting pitcher (thier specialty) I mean we have Timlin, Embree and Foukle as well. Gimme a break. I am so no afraid of Anaheim. Vladdy yes, the rest of the team.......no Go Sox.

| Embree????? Come on, man. Embree isn't a big threat to anyone. He will more than likely give up a couple of homers in the post season. | ||||||||||||||
