| I don't know what Boston newspapers you read. Are you getting this info from the local Stoneham newspaper? Keyshawn will NOT end up on this team for two reasons. 1. He is a selfish prick 2. The Pats have no selfish pricks on the team. Unless Keyshawn for the first time in his life will decide to put his ego in check and accept potentially only catches 30 balls then he wont be here. Duce Staley has about as much of a chance of being on the Pats as I do. NONE. If they wanted a guy that can produce like Staley, they would have just kept Antwone Smith. I see the Pats getting either Chris Perry from Michigan, maybe if they trade up Stephen Jackson. They also look like the leading candidtates to retain Ted Washington. I have also heard Brunell to the Skins, but thats not really news. | |

| Keyshawn is gonna have to realize there isn't a real huge market for him right now. He's not that great a receiver and he's slow as piss. I could see him back on the Jets or maybe in Dallas. Staley is just a bigger Kevin Faulk (also a FA), if he were to end up in NE. I doubt that's where he ends up, and I also doubt he finds a starting gig for next season. The Pats' aren't drafting high enough to take either Jackson or Kevin Jones, probably the only two round-1 RBs at this point. They could reach for a guy at 32, but there are too many good RBs in this draft to do that, I think. Rambo and Simon, remember the name Mewelde Moore. I think he would be an absolute perfect fit in the Pats' system, and should go around the 3rd-round. Lord knows where T.O. will end up, my money is on Baltimore. I doubt Philly signs him considering the baggage he brings, which is probably a good thing for the rest of the NFC. I just hope the Packers can retain Chad Clifton. | |||||||||||||||

| Rumors are floating around that Terell Owens could end up with the Eagles. McNabb/Owens/Staley could make a formidable trio. | ||||||||||||||

| I dont know Freak, The Pats have so many draft picks and not a lot of places to put them all. (2) 1st rounders, (2) 2nd rounders a 3rd and (2) forth round picks. That is plenty of trade bait to move up in the draft. Although, I dont know if they will, they could definetly use a top reciever. I also think you are right on with KJ. The Jets or Dallas are the most likely suitors. I would love to see TO get a bunch of shit offers in the offseason, but someone will overpay for him. What about Seattle? Maybe Washington. Synder wants every player in the league on his friggin team. Gawd, I hate Washington. | |

| Washington signed Laveranues Coles, and have 2001 1st-rounder Rod Gardner as well, so I doubt they sign a big WR. Seattle might be interested if they can't keep Darrell Jackson, but Koren Robinson and Bobby Engram are good players and they have way too many holes on defense. The wildcard in the hunt for T.O. might be Minnesota, as sick as that sounds. They have a ridiculous amount of cap space, and the fans are making a big push for Owens. I doubt he'd be interested in sharing the spotlight with Moss, but just think about that... DMW, the Eagles are unlikely to keep Duce Staley around, and Brian Westbrook is probably a better running back anyway. So McNabb/Westbrook/Owens would be more appropriate... even though I still can't see Andy Reid signing a headcase. The Pats certainly do have the draft picks to move up in the draft, but I probably wouldn't if I were them. Jackson and Jones are good, but neither one seems like a sure thing to me, or worthy of multiple picks anyway. Jackson is really tall and was way overused at OSU, and Jones probably can't catch well enough to play in the Pats' offense. My guy, Moore, is the best receiving back in the draft, and has shown he can be a workhorse kind of back. He's not a burner, but he gets the job done, a lot like Deuce McAllister. He played for Tulane, which is why you probably haven't heard his name. If the Pats stay put at 21 (I think it's 21) and 32 in the draft, I could see them going with a receiver like RaShaun Woods or Mark Clayton, and a center or guard, especially if Woody doesn't return. This all changes if Ty Law is cut too. Yeah, Clifton is the guy who was levelled by Sapp. He's a big reason why the Packers' O-line was so unbelievable last year. | |||||||||||||||

| All I know is that my Giants will take an O-lineman (probably Gallery from Iowa) in the first round Eli Manning will probably go first in the draft (the Chargers just missed on Peyton Manning, no way they pass up on Eli), followed by Larry Fitzgerald to the Raiders (Fitzgerald and Jerry Porter...potentially sick receiving duo), then Roethlisberger to the Cards, then Gallery to the Giants If the Raiders take Fitzgerald, look for them to draft a QB, probably Rivers from N.C. State or Losman from Tulane, in the 2nd round If all is right in the world Maurice Clarett wont get drafted | |||||||||||||||

| I have heard some rumblings that the NFL GM's may end up blackballing him to teach the young kids a lesson. Although, some sorry ass franchise will probably take him in the 2nd round. Freak and Mr.D. You guys seem to know quite a bit about the college prospects. Keep it up. I like hearing all this stuff. I just recently got into college football. I dont know why but all growing up I never really had any interest in it. You know who actually got me into watching College football? DeShawn Foster. I watched a lot of his games when he played for UCLA. I wanted the Pats to get him so bad. Oh well. Simon | |
