| That's nuts man, Mike Williams becomes the best receiver in maybe the greatest WR class ever -- Williams, Fitzgerald, Roy Williams, Reggie Williams, RaShaun Woods, Mark Clayton, Lee Evans... just nuts. Simon, the Pats would never be able to trade up that high, but it means they might be able to get a better receiver at one of their spots now. | |||||||||||||||

| Would be tough, but it's doable. The WRs from '96 who are worth a damn are Marv, T.O., Moulds, Horn and Toomer -- the rest of those guys have never been anything special. Any one of those 2003 wideouts I listed could become very special players, and that's not even mentioning the inevitable steals in later rounds, like Owens and Horn. | |||||||||||||||

| He's a decent player, but has never come close to matching the way he played in '99 and '00. He's slow as dirt too, despite his good hands. | |||||||||||||||

Let's hug it out bitch.
| Breaking News from ESPN.com Ravens running back Jamal Lewis was indicted today on federal drug conspiracy charges. Lewis is accused of conspiring to distribute cocaine in the summer of 2000. He had the second-highest rushing total in NFL history last season. --------------------------------------------- WOW !!! | |

| How big a deal is this in America? I've heard he could get off easy, or he could end up serving some time. I know he's already on the NFL's Substance Abuse program after an incident a couple years ago. On a side note, how about the nearly-finished deal that would send Clinton Portis to Washington for Champ Bailey? THAT is a monster trade. Huge. | |||||||||||||||

| That would be an awesome trade for Denver because that team always seems to be able to produce good running backs, so Portis could easily be replaced. | ||||||||||||||

| Without a doubt I think Denver gets a better deal. Portis has played just two years, and while he's been quite brilliant, he's shown a knack for nagging injuries and fumbling the ball. Champ Bailey has proven himself as the league's premier shut down corner -- a position much harder to fill than running back. Washington still gets a wicked deal, considering they could have lost Champ for nothing. Portis could be a horse in Gibbs' system. | |||||||||||||||
