We know he's a wonderful runner. I heard he almost beat his mate Slaton in the 40-yard dash, which is incredible for a QB. However, you all know the question that's coming... Can he play QB in the NFL?

I've seen a ton of West Virginia this year as they are one of my favorite teams to watch and while he doesn't throw it much, White always seem to be pretty accurate and looks like he has a good arm.

I'm not sure about this one.

Going into the season, I think most experts had him pegged as a guy who'd have to change positions to succeed in the NFL, sort of a Brad Smith-type prospect.

After this season, I'm not so sure about that. Obviously his biggest asset is his running ability, but like you said Blitz, his accuracy has shown well this year, even if he doesn't have a cannon like Michael Vick. He has the size to be an NFL quarterback as well.

If he does enter the draft as a QB, though, he'll be seen as a project, and likely not drafted until late on the first day.

Yeah the guy is good but I just don't know if his skills translate over to the pro game well. Haven't really heard much talk about him as far as his pro prospcets are concerned. He could be Vick or he could Eric Crouch.

So you don't see him as a QB then, seeing how Robinson is on the Niners and the only time he'll ever line up at the QB position is short yardage..

I agree with Freak. I'd try the guy out at QB 1st because with his speed, if he could ever throw it a little, he ould be ultra dangerous

I don't see White leaving early but Slaton is a possibility. Not after this year though as he's only a sophomore, but he's already drawing comparisons to Reggie Bush.

Slaton is going to have to have surgery on his left wrist in the off season so I agree with you, he will be back next year.
