Yeah, the Louisville game was a fluke. If that game had been in Morgantown WVU would have owned them.

And I disagree with this.

It's not a "fluke" when one team has clearly been better prepared, and thoroughly outplays the other. Location is no excuse either: countless road teams go into loud opposing fields and pull out the win. It still pains me to say it, but WVU deserved to lose that game.

They did. Louisville WRs were open all over the field with no defenders within 10 yards of them. It was inexcusable.

WVU had an off night and they did deserve to lose.....that night.

If you would let them play 10 times, WVU would have destroyed them 9 times out of 10. But on that night it just happened to be that one time.

They've overcome the loss of perhaps the 2nd-best running back in college football (hey Blitz, we could do a whole thread about that), and they're just as good a football team as West Virginia, if not better (they did, after all, beat them).

I admit that I am a little biased toward WVU. No question about that.

Slaton and White did both choke. White more than Slaton because Slaton was hurt as well. He hurt his arm thus the two fumbles which really turned the game around.

But I seriously believe that WVU is a great football team that had a bad night. Nothing against Rutgers.

The difference is that I am "a little biased" towards WVU; you're full-on blind without your blue-and-gold glasses on.

Just because West Virginia is a great football team, and White and Slaton are maybe the best QB-RB combo in the entire nation, doesn't mean you can discount Louisville like that and say they'd get destroyed 9 out of 10 times. Just be realistic.
