I'm sure he does care alot about that record but I also believe he would like to have a world series ring to he has said it many times.

Danny brought up a awsome point that totally blew right by my mind, Frank Thomas being Oaklands DH. Now as I think about he will not go there becuase he would be stuck back in the outfeild like he was in san fran and that wouldn't help the problem. So I looked at rumor central and some articles and came to the conclusion he will be back in a gaints uniform or retired.

Other AL teams are not looking for a 40+ man who can barely walk around the bases to be there clean up hitter and to have a huge contract blocking young talent o and lets not forget all the crap he gets pointed to his way.

Huge descion for Bonds and San Fran.
