First thought is that it's quite an aggressive deal, especially for a guy who's 31 already. 25 million a year. Jesus.
But given the fact that the dude has been a machine for EVERY year he's been in the league, it's worth the risk. Surprised he didn't go to Miami though, seeing as that's the hot spot for virtually every athlete these days.

This winter is all about the Marlins and Angels now.
I'm shocked that Pujols signed with a team other than the Cards. But then again, like every player, it is all about the money.

If he doesn't sign with the Cubs (which I don't think he will) then going to the Rangers or any AL team would be best. Then we get the two biggest sluggers out of the NL and the NL Central.
