Theo Epstein Interview

Ok, so I have NO idea how to put the video on the site but I will put the links below.

I just watched an interview of Theo Epstein the wonder kid GM of the Boston Red Sox.

This F'n guy is first of all younger than me, but other than that came off as a complete D-Bag in this interview.

some points:
Said he and other Sox front office guys will not watch Game 6 and 7 of the NLCS because they have too much work to do. (BULLSHIT, he could at least give a baseball answer rather than saying I'm too busy. Give me some insight of what another GM think about the NLCS.. DICK!)

He doesn't listen to talk radio because he is busy and doesn't have free time.(basically you are a loser if you listen to sports radio and he doesn't care what fans think)

Can't sit in the stands at Fenway because of the fans(F-Him)

Yankees payroll-wahhhhhh

But mostly his overall demeaner in what seemed like an interview meant to be fun and lighthearted, he came off as a D-bag, who doesn't care what the fans think, the media thinks, he was evasive on answers.

I used to like this guy because he was a younger guy, having fun, loving his job, and he was one of us not that long ago.. Now this guy can kiss my arse and I hope he never gets in front of a camera again. He should shut up and keep Dan Duqutte on on speed dial because without him, Theo is selling peanuts in the bleachers...

The reason why he's acting like this is because he had so much success so quickly, at such a young age, he doesn't yet know how to cope when things don't go well for him.

All his moves when he first took office were golden. Now...not so much

I agree that he's made a lot of mistakes but anytime someone talks Yankee payroll one can't help but agree that their salaries are absurd and ruin the game.

Steinbrenner got lucky. He bought the Yankees for nothing.

I'm not sure everyone envisioned a day where they'd be shelling out $200M every year for players.

George realized how much money is in winning, so he goes the extra mile. I can't put the total blame on him, but maybe once teams start folding everyone will realize why there needs to be a cap.
