Hall of Fame pitchers: Who's in? Who's Out?

I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning and a couple of other people here at work were too, and we got to discussing: Which current pitchers will make the Hall of Fame. Mike and Mike automatically included Clemens, Johnson, Maddux, and Rivera. The ones they were discussing were: Pedro, Mussina, Schilling, Glavine, Smoltz. I don't know why they were discussing Pedro, but they were (I think it's because his win total isnt that high)

Here are each person's credentials (through 2005)

Pedro: 197-84 record, 2.72 ERA (half AL, half NL), 1.021 WHIP, 2861 K's. 1 World Series, 3 Cy Young's.

Mussina: 224-127, 3.64 ERA, 1.181 WHIP, 2400 K's, 0 World Series or Cy Young's

Schilling: 192-131, 3.40 ERA (13 full seasons in NL, 4 in AL), 1.126 WHIP, 2832 K's, 2 World Series, 0 Cy Young's

Glavine: 275-184, 3.44 ERA (all NL), 1.302 WHIP, 2350 K's, 1 World Series, 2 Cy Young

Smoltz: 177-128, 3.26 ERA, 1.167 WHIP, 154 Saves, 2567 K's, 1 World Series, 1 Cy Young

I think Pedro is a definite, Glavine will get to 300 wins, so he'll get in (he's currently at 286), Smoltz should get in, with Schilling and Mussina as borderline candidates. I'd say Schilling gets in, and Mussina is one of the best pitchers to be left out.

Thoughts?

Pedro, Glavine, and Smoltz get in. I think Schilling will get in, if he can stay around and get 3,000 K's. I think Moose might get in, depending on who he's up against at that time, but it'll be a couple ballots after his name first appears.

Hey. You guys know I freaking love the Sox more than anyone, but Curt Schilling in the HOF? Surely you jest.

I really think that Smoltz and Mussinas are absolute no's as well.

Clemens should have the red carpet put out for him, with Pedro strolling up in his limo in about 10 years.

I'm a huge Braves fan, I've seen it all from Smoltz and Glavine and I think they both deserve to get in.. One thing not on this list is Smoltz's playoff stats which are very good and much better then that of Maddux or Glavine..

Glavine will get to 300 wins, so no way he's left out..

Pedro has some of the best stats of all time, regardless of how many wins, he's a definite. He's been this era's Sandy Koufax..

So that would be Pedro, Glavine, Smoltz, all in...

And Mussina and Schilling have some work to do IMO..
